Oh my! What a bountiful harvest! Enjoy!

I had to water in the greenhouse house today. I needed a blow torch to melt the ice on the track were the door slides. It was well worth it , meyer lemons limes , pages, nules clementines. It has been cold here too. The wind chills have been in the minus 40s F all week.

PS.tmc I hope your trees are fine, I am sure they are. We had a power failure while we were at work , the power was off the whole day. The temperature got down to 33 F came close to being a disaster. Luckily the sun was out that day.Your bowls of fruit look really tasty enjoy

If the trees are mature they should be no problem with them getting down in the low thirties. I have mine planted outside and they handle temps in the mid twenties with no problem as long as it doesn't stay at that temperature for long. Right now I picked a 30 gallon garbage can full of oranges and didn't put a dent in the tree. I don't have as many as normal but still have more than I can eat and give away. My trees are around 15 years old.

You guys are AMAZING with all your fruit and with those temps...

If your roots don't freeze through the plants should be fine..Thank God for the sun right? At least it can be a lifesaver about this time of the year. It's starting to make a difference in the greenhouse and the space heaters even shut off although it's in the teens warming to above 70 inside..Yahoo...lol

The only thing left to harvest for me is Tango Mandarins. There are few limes and maybe a lemon or two that I missed last month during the big pickin'. I need to find citrus for later season harvest, it is just too nice to have fresh fruit during the off season.
