great quality..need more quantity...

My husband and I recently bought a home in San Jose with an orange tree. The oranges are DELICIOUS! Sweet, juicy, big and beautiful!! The only problem is that there are only about 15 on the whole tree. Walking in the evenings shows me that some trees in our neighborhood are just loaded with oranges.
Can anyone tell me what to do to get more oranges to grow on my tree...without messing with the sweetness of the oranges?

Well, photos would help us to better help you, Amanda. And, more info. Like, how old do you think the tree is? If it is young, then simply age will help the tree grow and produce more fruit. Also, are you fertilizing the tree, watering regularly, is it competing with grass under the canopy? Please take some photos and post them into your message (upload to photobucket.com, then copy and past the HTML link into the body of your message). Photos help a lot.

Ok, Patty--thanks for the tips! I have no way of knowing the age or specific type of tree, but I can and will take some pictures.
