Yes I did , and I'm doing now , many od them died very quickly but I have few of them that show some signs of "life" in them

One made me a small leaf ,and 3 of them are flowering again. Of course they have no root system but still this means that there is a small chance to see roots.

I also have an orange too in good shape

You serious? Some are flowering? In what type of soil did you put them? Mine is all crispy and the leaves are drying out.

You may have better results if all, or almost all, the leaves are removed before planting. Removing the leaves reduces the plant's need for moisture, which is critical since the cutting has no roots. I often leave one leaf, or half a leaf so I can better observe whether it is surviving.

Use them for grafting! It's faster than rooting !
