blossem end rot on lemons???

Hello,

We have a mature lemon (maybe a Meyer) who receives regular water and light organic feedings. However, the majority of the lemons produced develop what looks like blossem end rot, much like you see on tomatoes. What gives? Is this a unique condition or is this a common symptom of another issue?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The cure for blossom end rot in tomatoes is usually lime. I had a similar problem with a calamondin. I did a search and found that cals need a little bit of mineral lime. I added some lime and it seemed to work. Give it a try and I also recommend a tonic product called SuperThrive.

Brown blossom ends of lemon are due to one of several things, neither of them blossom end rot.

Instead, a fungal infection or left on the tree too long.
