Dwarf key lime leaf drop.

My potted key lime got a little too dry and dropped nearly all of its leaves. This is sort of new. I've had it defoliate pretty extensively from not getting enough light before, and I've had it get too dry on me before as well (I tend to keep it dryer in the winter. It's not actively growing and I want to avoid rot).

However I've never had it more or less completely defoliate from getting too dry.

Usually when it undergoes some amount of leaf loss over the winter it leafs out just fine in the spring when I put it outside, but that's still a few months away, and as I said, it's never really happened to this extent before. So... any advice on what I should do until then?

I would water it with SuperThrive.

SuperThrive's expensive and there's no clear consensus on whether or not it even does anything. I'd rather try something else.

Trunks still green under the bark but it looks like it might be loosing some of the newer branches.
