Why are my Buddha's Hands citron not fragrant?

I bought this little plant in June 2010. It came with 3 fruits, I've cut off 1 for display in the kitchen, hoping to smell the fragrance. There was none. At the market where I find these fruits for sale, I can detect it immediately after walking through the door.

I'm sorry, but I just can't believe your fruits have no fragrance!
Perhaps you have simply become so used to it that you no longer notice.
To increase the strength of the smell, scratch the peel a bit and then put the fruit in a closed warm drawer or cupboard or small room. Come back a few hours later and see if the fragrance wafts out.
If you still can't smell anything, then I think you've got a faulty nose - try someone else's!
