A few years ago, a single ripe mandarin drew my eye. It was winter - a blue sky and beautiful snow scene in the window behind my first citrus tree. It totally amazed me! Was it the irony of citrus and snow, or maybe the contrast of orange against white that commanded my attention? Not sure, but in that moment, I fell in love with growing citrus!

Thanks to Nemo I'm feeling nostalgic today, looking in my sunroom with 30" of new snow outside the window, and remembering the magic of my mandarin...now I'm smiling at a new future memory that includes our limes, lemons, and kumquats!

Couldn't have gotten here without the help found here...wanted to say thank you, and to suggest that in the Northeast, today's a perfect day to pick a citrus!
