What fertilizers do you use on your Citrus trees and how often do you have to do that? Is miloganite ok to use on them?

No remedies for HLB (Citrus Greening), an infected tree will eventually die within 5 years from start of infection. See the link below, and if you are concerned that your citrus may be infected, call your local extension office to have it diagnosed for sure. You can treat for the Asian Citrus Psyllid, with is the vector for HLB, to keep the psyllids off the tree, and prevent an infection, but one a tree is infected, there is no remedy. Thanks hoosierquilt for the info and link. The more I read about it, the grimmer the situation seems ... especially here in FL. It seems that it has affected most part of FL and some part of CA, but CA is trying to learn the lesson now and I hope that is not too late to save the situation. So many growers have been affected ... which in turn is going to have more negative and drastic impact on the economy--especially when they have to lay off their employees and close down their business altogether. Sad situation ... not to say even the home growers will also be disappointed over their waste of efforts and years of toil to grow them ... I don't know what to say ..., but there may be some hope in sight soon ..

Here's something about RNai technology which actually is a genetic modification process done to the psyllic that is introducing infection to the plants. It looks like it won't be available until a year's time as it is still in the testing. I do hope by then, many trees can be saved before they die off for good.

Yes, HLB is grim. Only one incident with HLB in California, and that was due to someone grafting infected budwood to an existing tree. We have been very fortunate that so far, no other outbreaks have been detected, not has this one incidence spread. There is some very impressive research currently being conducted around the world - about 20 different research projects - that are approaching this from one of 3 approaches - vector control with the ACP (as you have mentioned in your link), resistant cultivar development, and disease eradication/modification. It will most likely be a combination of all 3 that will eventually curb and control HLB. Florida has lost billions of dollars of revenue and 10's of thousands of jobs due to HLB.
