I think that's a bit high, personally. I pay less than that for a 5 gal. tree. It depends where you are, wjp. And, if this is online or at a nursery. Online will be more expensive in general. And, I would absolutely ask for cultivar names. Where is this? There are few online sources that are rather sketchy. If you share the source, I am sure our forum members can let you know if the source if trustworthy, or not.

I'm in baltimore. I saw them at watson's garden center. They had 2 gal for 51.99.

Well, being in a non-citrus area might be the reason for the higher prices. I'm in S. California, where we have many citrus growers, so that helps to keep prices down. I would consider checking out some of the mail order options, and see if the prices are a little lower. Four Winds Growers is a great place to start. A 2 gal tree would be pretty tiny. I would say Four Winds' 1 yr old trees would be a reasonable comparison.
