Steve to me it looks like a murcott honey. Do you end up with juice all over you when you try to peel them? Do they have a syrupy taste ? Do they have a bit of a honey melon overtone?

Not very messy at all. The syrupy and honey taste might be what I call delayed flavor. I think they taste better than cuties. The cuties or oranges have an instant burst of flavor that I feel is too strong. I felt the same way about my Orlando tangelo as my tangerine I am asking about. Mild lasting flavor. It looks like Honey Murcott to me as well...I just bought a bag 3 lbs at Aldi's for .99 cents...they're very good and sweet!!

Murcott mandarin (not tangerine, that is not the group name of this type of citrus, tangerine is a commercially coined name for a few mandarin cultivars). Murcott is also called "Honey" on the east coast (Florida).

They are Florida grown Murcott mandarins. Great flavor but too many seeds for me.
