I wouldn't grow lemons from seed unless you want to wait 3 years to MAYBE see if you'll get some fruits..

i have a meyer lemon in my greenhouse, live in mid michigan. it ihas been flowering but the leaves have been turning yellow and droping. it is heated to about 55-60 f. when the sun pops out it can hit weel over 100- 115. is t5his my proplem or somethig else? all help appreciated, thanks ,mike

Mike...It's too extremely hot for a potted tree and then drop that fast by night..
Trees in which roots exhaust themselves in heat will turn yellow and eventually die, especially the very fine hair ones that do all the work ...
To much of a shock....Isn't there any way you can stop the temps from getting that high by day?
I use auto vent openers that open once the temps in there reach 70.

Abohms...50 will not hurt most plants but will stunt growth until it warms up or cause root rot if your mix stays wet too long if it's not porous enough which then can kill a tree.

Bakermike 50 degrees at night is good. 100 to 115 in the day is way to hot. Can you leave your GH door open a little bit before you go to work to get a little cooler air in there that's if the temperature outside is above freezing. I have to do this all of April and may because the same thing would happen to me. Perfect temp would be in the 80s

Abohms I don't think there is anything wrong bringing out as long as you do not get frost at night or rain everyday because April and May is a rainy time of year and I would be afraid of it rotting.If your seedling is doing well now then I would leave it inside until may in a nice sunny window

Abohms sorry I thought you were bringing the seedling out soon . Middle of May perfect. Still watch out for those rare frost events and the way this winter is going who knows?
