can somebody please identify these little critters. Some leaves have 3-4 of them per leave. I sprayed white oil mixture this morning, it's still pretty cool up here in florida panhandle. tree is shiranui tangerine and its blooming right now. I send another picture with tree itself. Thank you for your help.

Dang....I was hoping that someone would have ID 'd this by now. I think that I recognize the little guy but just can't think of it.

It's not any kind of a fly, so not a fruit fly or leaf miner. It's not a moth, so it's not the Citrus Leaf Miner. It's not a winged aphid nor a parasitoid that I've ever seen.

I'm not sure that I would keep spraying them in the event that they are
beneficial...or benign.

Any ideas, anyone?

Perhaps a psocid? If so, not a problem.

RE: little flys on my citrus tree

RE: little flys on my citrus tree

well i googled psocid and pretty sure thats what they are. I killed innocent little bugs. oh, well i,m sure there will be more of them ;) . Thank you guys for helping out. by the way my dekopon fruits are now already pea size and dark green, so hopefully they set.

If ants are running up & down, you'd be wise to look for scale insects.
