Except for the main flush that occurs this time of year, I don't pay that much attention to when the other flushes appear. This main flush is what sets things in motion for me. I admittedly use a lighter fertilizer hand than most folks, so I'm less inclined to care about other flushes, except to observe for ant activity. That said, I do have some Mn deficiency that (for purely ascetic reasons) could and should be managed a little better. :)

Nancy, I'd say 2 - 3 is right....that seems to be what I see on my Citrus over here :-)

I'm always dealing with some type of deficiency on my leaves also...its always something with Citrus around here...bugs, especially CLMs and some leaf issues...part of gardening I guess.

Josh, I kinda figure it was about that...hopefully I will get at least 3 this year...a little extra (but lighter dose of fertilizer) to help it along :o)

That is pretty typical for me too Nancy. 2-3 growth flushes and 2-3 blooms for meyer lemons.

Hi Mike, appreciate it! You're lucky that you get 2-3 blooms on your Meyer lemon...mine only bloomed once last year and that year Deer ate 80% of my tree, then I had aphids and I sprayed the tree with some Hort. oil and all the blooms fell off,lol...not a good year for my Meyer last year :o(... Could also be because its a young tree, just planted it about 3 years ago, between the Deer eating all the leaves last year and CLM and other pest I'm thrilled its blooming pretty good now :o) Hoping for at least a couple of blooms this season...Some actual fruits sure would be nice!!
