Looks like it was pruned rather dramatically

Other than being pruned rather dramatically, as raee puts it, it doesn't look bad. How far is it from that wall? It may have lost some leaves if it wasn't fertilized, but a little fertilizer will fix that. The leaves are pretty large, so it may be an orange, but don't hold me to that. The leaves on my lemon are pretty big, too. You'll have to wait until it blooms, then post pics, they lemons and oranges are different colors. If that doesn't work, you'll have to wait until it develops fruit. Sorry.
