I would keep it watered, fertilize regularly, keep it out in the sun as long as you're not going to experience any further frosts. The leaves may drop, not to worry. The little tree will push out new growth at the leaf nodes. Do not prune, just let the tree recover. Once recovered, you can prune out any dead (brown) branches. Any reason why it wasn't brought in during the freezing rain? Maybe next time it would be a good idea to bring it into the garage to avoid freezing temps :-)

Thank you, hoosierquilt. Good to know that there is still a chance. I will definitely keep it well watered and fertilized.
I covered it during the freezing rain but did not bring it to the garage. The pot where it sits is a huge one and I could not move it.
Now all most all the leaves dry out and start to fall. I will come back to report its progress after I see some change.

Be careful with watering. You want the substrata to almost dry out to a depth of about 12" before watering again. The plant will most probably shed those leaves. Remove any twigs that will become dry (brownish or black). Don't cut into the green ones.
If the plant drops most leaves and you live in a very sunny and warm climate you might want to place the pot in partial or dappled shade before gradually moving it back in full sun when it leaves out fully. Hope this helps.

Whoops! I just gave it a good watering last night and asked my husband to move it to a sunny place. Our temperature is around 70F today. Maybe I should use some sheets to shield it?

I would not move it to the shade. Sunlight will stimulate leaf production. You want to keep it watered regularly, and definitely not over watered, but kept moist. Citrus are used to be in full, full sun, that will not hurt it in the least. Nik is correct about making sure you don't over water, of course.
