After pruning how long does it take for new leaves to grow? In a greenhouse.

Scratch test. Lightly scratch the bark with a fingernail to see if there's any green under there. If the upper branches are dead, check lower down the trunk.

Hard to say about re-sprouting. Sometimes it happens immediately...sometimes it takes months. When I first got my Meyer, it took a long time to stabilize.

Thank you Josh. I will test it. Actually I think I'm rushing things. It was pruned February 21.

I have another question Josh if You don't mind. What do you do on days like today where it's nice and sunny and warm then it is chilly at night? can you take the tree In and out?

Suzy, definitely take your tree outside to give it as much sunlight as possible. Just remember to bring it back in, if temps are threatening to drop below 40.

Suzy, that's what I've been doing - the plant shuffle. When I take my plants out in the morning, I try to wait until temps have risen to 60F or warmer. Tomorrow we're supposed to have some rain, and I'll leave the citrus out for a washing (as long as temps stay above 55F).
