Please help me identify this citrus fruit!

Hi Guys, just wanting some help identifying a fruit I have growing in my rental backyard in Victoria, Australia.
The fruits are dark green, oval shaped but as big as an orange.
They taste kind of like a lemon but a bit sweeter.
Could they be a "sweetie"? They seem too dark in colour but I'm a complete novice when it comes to plant identification.
Both trees are covered in these fruits, when they're small they look and taste like limes but then they double in size.

Sweetie... another name for Oro Blanco, which is a cross of pomelo and grapefruit; could definitely be that; but the leaf petioles look more like orange.

Looks like Persian lime to me. In your neck of the woods, it could also be New Zealand Lemonade. Persian lime will taste a bit like watered down lemonade. NZL will taste more like real lemonade. An unripe grapefruit, grapefruit hybrid or pummelo hybrid would be awfully sour. Persian limes and NZL will both ripen to yellow.

Are you sure they're ripe? Generally here citrus aren't ripe until towards the end of winter, which is more like August-September.

It is not Oroblanco, since oroblanco has a thicker rind.
I think they are unripe oranges. In Vietnam we have this kind of orange. It has green skin when it ripes. Google 'orange with green skin' you will see many photos of this kind of orange.
