Lemon Tree

Hi,

I've got a Lemon tree that is about 2 years old. I grew it from seed from a Lemon that i picked up whilst on holiday in Amalfi, Italy!

As you can see in the pictures, it is about 2 ft high now. It has always grown incredibly well on my windowsill, to the point that it started to grow three separate shoots at the top and that is where you can see i have attempted to get it to branch out, however over the last two or three months it has stopped growing completely.

My questions are: firstly, quite a few of the leaves seem to have quite a lot of ridges on them. I've tried to take a photo of this so hopefully you can see what i mean. Is this normal?

Secondly, as it is a plant grown from a seed of an Amalfi Lemon that i found near a Lemon grove, is it likely to ever produce fruit? I have read elsewhere that seed grown Lemon plants don't produce fruit and only grafted plants will do.

Finally, i have taken a photo of what looks like the start of a new shoot that is growing from the 'trunk' would you say i am right with that?

I water it every couple of days, just when the soil looks a bit dry really, and feed it with a citrus plant food with 4.7% nitrogen content every now and then.

Any suggestions or advice would be welcome, i hope to have this plant for many years to remind me of my holiday and the endless Lemon groves in that part of the world!

Thanks
