i bought an N-33 last spring, had 3 oranges. looked and tasted like a good navel from the grocery store.

too much water could cause the fruit to grow too large and also become bland, not sweet.

Hmm, can't decide which variety I want.. I guess i'll choose the n33 over the Washington.

The N-33 tends to be a bit more upright than the original Washington, and may have a bit less of the drooping of the Washington.

I have a Washington navel tree and had around 5-6 fruits this year. It's a young tree. Those were the most delicious navels I have had in quite a while. If I find another Washington at my local Lowes or Home Depot, it's coming home with me.
