Citrus growth

I have 4 citrus trees 3 of which I have had for over a year. I think I have a oroblanco grapefruit, a Meyer lemon, a California honey mandarin and a naval orange. The mandarin I got a few months ago and is doing very well with lost of new growth but some of the leaves are turning yellowish. The other 3 trees I have had from about 2 to 5 years and while they are all in bloom now and have produced new leaves none have really grown since we got them. The trees are all about 1 1/2 ft tall. The first year I let the tree hold one or two fruit but they were very small so I have been picking off the buds. Should I continue this? Any advice on helping my trees grow. I used a citrus/avacodo fertilizer for the first time in February this year so that my help. They are all in full sun and a watered regularly. Thank you!
