new Tangelo trees

BrendaNV

I live in southern NV. I planted two nursery purchased tangelo trees about a month ago. They're maybe 5-6 years old and were planted into a 3' deep, raised garden bed with quality potting soil. Our weather this time of year is very mild with low 70s during the day and mid 50s at night, so the temperatures have been very accommodating for replanting. The leaves on the tangelos have started to curl -end rolling inward opposed to sides curling in. I'm not seeing any signs of pests. I fertilized with nursery provided fertilizer as instructed. I water every 2-3 days with a deep soaking cycle that reaches out to at least the canopy width. Still ... the trees look poor. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? My next step is a trip back to the nursery with a few leaves, but I thought I would try here first to see if I can get any advice.
