| My new Lime Tree is dieing. I've had it for about a week now and the leaves and flowers are falling off, the leaves are getting brittle and changing from a dark green to a light green. The only area in my apartment to put it doesn't have the best natural light so I'm thinking I need to buy a UV/Grow light ASAP.
What's the best kind of light that I can buy to save my Tree? Thanks |

| check out the growing under lights forum. you can use fluorescent tubes/shop light or clamp on lamps with large CFL's. CFL's sold at most local stores are too small for plants. theirs are usually 12-20 watts (60-100 watt equivalent). you can find larger ones at online stores, look for 40-80 watts which will give you a few thousand lumens. i have a little setup for winter time. a pvc stand and two clamp on lamps with a 45watt and a 65watt. |
