Satsuma Help

Krazy-in-Florida

Hi all, I have 2 Satsumas that were severely disfigured by leak miners lat season.

I contacted my county agents extension last year after I noticed the damage. I have been spraying Volck oil per their instruction to address the problem.

The other problem is on the older tree, It didn't grow much for the first 6 years after I planted it. It would bloom, get fruits about the size of a pencil eraser, turn yellow and fall off. I was told by the county agent that I had nutrient deficiencies. I then discovered when I planted the oldest tree, I had air pockets around the roots. I fixed that problem and started fertilizing with citrus, and experienced 2' of growth last year.

Will this stop the problem of the fruit falling off? It has done that for the last 6 years. Attached are a couple of photos of the leaf damage.
