I'm curious about the organic pesticide you use. What kind is it and have you had good results?

I've been using AzaMax with excellent results for fungal knats and scale all winter.

Mike, thanks for that information about AzaMax. I wonder if I've been living under a rock or something, but I have not heard of that. It sounds like I should investigate it. I have found the manufacturer's label, which appears to be very thorough.

Has anyone else used this product, or perhaps another with azadirachtin as the main ingredient? Azadirachtin is a component of the neem tree seed, but many of t he processing methods remove it. Neem oil, alone, is effective against a wide variety of plant feeding pests, but when it has been cold pressed...leaving the azadirachtin in place, it is much more effective.

So what's this stuff smell like? ;-) That would be my first complaint about my neem oil, lol.

It does have a smell, but it's not a toxic smell. With the weather warming up, should be a problem to spray them outside and bring them in if you have to due to temps.
