Have to ease into the sun slowly, leaves may fold and may even turn white-looking over the next few days if they are sun burned. The past couple of days our temps jumped from the 50's to the 70's and even 80's yesterday with bright sun...our indoor citrus aren't acclimated to outdoor light, even clear window glass filters out some sun. Could you put your tree outside in the shade of an umbrella, or protected by an object you can put outside temporarily to create shade? Gradually expose to more sunlight over the course of a couple weeks, not days...

I tried that, blocking it with the grill but i think it still got way too much light. Now with the 50s and cloudy the next few days, it will get unhappier i am sure.

What temps do you usually leave your plant outside (I was thinking about lows >55 and bring out if daytime >60 but back in if lows below 55)

Those temps seem workable, I used to use 60 degrees as my rule of thumb, because they were going outside from a fully heated room. Others may want to share how they work it. Actually, I never even put them outside last year because I couldn't carry them inside and out. I'm not recommending that, but I did have fruit!

What I would do which I do every year is use insect screen.

Buy some insect screen and just drape it over the canopy of your tree. I use sticks that are taller than the tree and then drape a double folded screen over the top.

After the first week, use a single layer of bug screen and then after another week, take the bug screen off.

What's cool is that it's cheap, the wind does not blow it off, and it acclimates your tree perfectly for one that has no shaded areas.

Many leaves are now very light colored and/or folded from the sun. Any reason to cut them off, or should i just leave them? Will they every green up?

MM- do you have a picture, i can figure what you are talking about unless just laying it over the tree like a blanket. Not sure how the sind wouldn't affect that.
