Don't Rule Out Lane Late Navel Orange

My Lane Late Navel Orange is really starting to come of age. The fruit this year has been of dessert quality. I'm surprised that there aren't more raves about this orange. Nice size, color and super sweet fruit. There's some overlap with Washington and Cara Cara, but it holds well enough on the tree to extend the season a bit longer. I am glad that I added this tree to my little plot.

Late Lane is a great choice out here in my area, too. And I seem to remember that its juice does better in the refrigerator than other navels, not getting as bitter. So that is also a plus for this very nice orange. It is terrific in our desert areas, too.
