Are my citrus trees dead?

Hi all,

My alerian mandarin and meyers lemon trees (both potted dwarfs) went through a little bit of a frost a few weeks back and appear to be dead now. I don't know much about growing citrus in the South, but I've been bringing them indoors in the evening and setting them out in the sun during the day. I accidentally left them outside in the frost for about 3 hours and they dropped all their leaves and the branches turned into sticks.

As you can see in the photos, I've tried to prune back until I reached green inside the branch, but I can't find any. Should I cut it back all the way to the trunk? Does it look dead? Any input would be appreciated!
