Hi everyone-I've been a lurker for quite a while and have learned so much from all of you. Thank you for all of your advice and knowledge that you didn't know you were helping this little newbie with :)

Anyways, is fir bark mulch ok to use on citrus trees? The bigger bark mulch we used in our front yard is darker and I am clueless as to what that kind of bark is and if that would be better to use on citrus. My yard is almost all cemented patio so most of my stuff has to be in pots. I have 2 bags of orchid fir bark mulch a friend gave me and I'd like to use it on my potted trees.

I think I killed my Meyer lemon and one satsuma but I'll post those issues on another post.
