Do you see a graft?

Hello. New to citrus and by reading through comments on the forum it has been advised to cut off suckers under the graft. I don't see a graft on my tree or I just don't know what to look for. Please advise. Many thanks...

Where do you live; and where did you buy your tree? In some parts of the US the preferred method of propagation is by rooted cutting; so there is no graft. I don't see a graft/bud in your photos; but it could be that you have buried the bud union/graft; if that is the case the tree will not live long.

I agree with John. many of the meyers im seeing around here are rooted cuttings. Yours may be as well. If you end up getting a branch with different leaves then you have now, that would be rootstock.

I think that one is a cutting.

I was gonna ask that you brush away the potting media enough to expose the root flare before deciding that there is no graft.
Then leave it that way for the health of the tree.
