Browning on pruned branches is normal. My mandarin is full of them. They fall off after some time.
On the other hand, I have no idea on super thrive.

Super Thrive is a waste of money. Stick with what we've suggested on this forum with regard to fertilizing, and you'll be fine.

It wouldn't hurt at all, but I too suggest better fertilizing, good sunlight, a great soilless mix and good watering habits...:-)

Thanks. I still use Jack's fertilizer I just wondered if I should put in a little extra vitamins once or twice. I still use organic mechanic container soil and the bush is still in the sun. thanks very much
