I hope all of your trees are doing well!

I've been having some issues. During this past winter, I had my trees indoors with a grow light, which worked well, although I over-watered this particular tree. I put the trees outside approximately 1 month ago, but this tree began to lose its leaves. Acting on the advice of a poster on this forum, I re-potted the tree, using a better-draining mix about 2 weeks ago. Since that time though, I have not noticed any change for the better, the leaves continue to drop. In addition (and this concerns me most of all), about 3 weeks ago I noticed new growth starting to be visible, but it has stalled since then. The beginnings of new growth are still green, but have not grown any more at all since I first noticed them. Is there anything else I can do or is my tree doomed?
