| I have leaf miners and can get rid of them how every most of the leaves on my orange tree seem to be affected so once I have got rid of the miners is there anything I can do for the leaves? |

| There are a couple of schools of thought on leaf miners. Some folks say to ignore them, that they really don't hurt anything. Personally, I don't believe that. They certainly don't HELP anything! The leaves already damaged are beyond help. However, my favorite trick is to watch for the newest, tiniest leaves to sprout and then I spray them with insecticide. This protects them until they harden up. Once they harden up, the miners can't burrow into them. After the old, damaged leaves fall off, you'll have a tree covered with nice undamaged leaves. Takes a lot of work and vigilance, but it works for me. |
