I do. I eat the peels and then I juice the fruit. But I have eaten the entire fruit as I LOVE sour! It makes a great hair rinse too. My hair was never so shiny. Just ran the juice through my hair and washed out.

Suzi, you can make a calamondin-ade (like lemonade) or use them to make a very good marmalade. They can be used in cooking like lemons and limes. I don't like sour citrus, so I don't eat mine or my kumquats either. I used to have a dog that loved kumquats and would quietly and gently pick them off the tree. I could never figure out where the heck they were going until one morning, I was looking out my daughter's bedroom window, where the kumquat tree was planted below, to see my dog slowly walk over to the tree, look around, and then gently pull off a kumquat. Funniest thing I ever saw.

How do you get enough juice at the same time? Do you freeze it?

Most of my calamondins in my yard are here as ornamentals. I have a row of them along the side of my driveway. I just pick the fruit and toss it for the most part. Same with the kumquats. You can use a manual squeezer, and it does take a LOT of calamondins to get enough juice. 1 cup of juice to 4 cups of water, and 1 cup of sugar (or 3/4 cup of Splenda). And, calamondins are not oranges, btw. They're just calamondins :-)

Calamondin is the primary "lemon" in the Philippines and other parts of Asia. In the Philippines they have a special "maid" whose only job is to spend the whole day squeezing the calamondin fruit (called Kalamansi there); the fruit has more seeds than juice. I have one at my lemon farm and my farm administrator loves it... picks them every day year round for use as "lemons".
