Lemon Tree Help.

I got some weird stuff on my lemon tree. Here's a picture of what's going on. Looks like some sort of critter maybe. The leaves of the tree had a black powdery gunk on there too. The lemon tree was in a pot in my backyard. Was doing good for a year or two and then this happened. Flowered, but the fruit all dropped when it was tiny. Help!!

Serious scale infestation! (the bumpy stuff on the stems.)

Scale excrete sticky stuff called honeydew which then attracts a fungus called sooty mold.

Need to add that the white sort-of-fuzzy thing is good guy -- a young mealybug destroyer, a relative of common lady bugs.
