I have a Lisbon lemon tree that has been in the ground for about eight years. Two years ago I had a bumper crop of lemons and they looked beautiful. Last year I had plenty of lemons but the skins were ugly (discolored brownish or black). This year I have lemons but they are already black.

What is wrong with them and is there anything I can do to reverse the discoloration?

The lemons on the opposite side of the tree look a little better.
