1.5 yr old Meyer Lemon tree. Questions

Hello,

I just bought a 1.5 he old Meyer lemon to be a pot planted. I have looked around and have seen some conflicting things. What size container will do? I know it should be smaller but can I do a bigger pot and put some flowers or something around it? Also can I use miracle grow moisture control potting mix work?
