what citrus tree is this?

I was given 2 citrus trees in pots. I don't know what they are. I am thinking this one may be lemon? I compared the leaves and smell to a lemon tree at Lowes and, although it's not the same, it is similar. I would like to get these plants in the ground, but really want to know what they are first. I will make 2 posts, for each plant. This one: lemon?? Any help/ insight would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!

general observations, has 1" thorns on it and is multi trunked.

It's a lemon, best guess it's Eureka or Lisbon; they are essentially the same. It would be a big help to know what kind of rootstock it is on; and a close up of the trunk where it enters the soil; it looks like it may be planted with the bud union buried... a tree killer.
