| I cut a sucker off a Kaffir lime that was about 2 ft tall (the sucker that is). I cut off the top 8'' to root (having delved through the very helpful messages here on the matter): I am wondering, is there any chance of success with the bottom piece (cut in suitable sized pieces)?

| If it's the same type of wood as the top, it will have just as good of a chance to root. Nothing to lose trying since you would just throw it out anyway if someone said there was no chance. |

| I agree with nancy, it should root as well as the other cutting. |
