newborn fruit question

My satsuma recently bloomed and starting to turn to little fruit after the pedals felt off. I noticed a few of the baby "fruit" are yellow and most are green... Are the yellow ones pretty much not going to make it and will fall off eventually, or..?

RE: newborn fruit question

Yes, Charles. This means the fruit will be dropping off. All citrus set more fruit than they can take to maturity. They drop excess fruit at 2 to 3 different stages. The first is the "BB" stage, which is what you currently seeing. They will also drop fruit if they don't get enough water, or if they get way too much water as well. You can actually touch those yellow fruit and they'll probably drop right off.
