You have way too many fruits on a Meyer tree that size; for that the tree is suffering from lack of food. It will suck the nutrients out of the older leaves to use for making new leaves and fruit. Take off all but 2 or 3 of the fruits, give it more food, and a bigger pot; and it should be fine.

My two cents but I live in central tx as well, near waco. With our summer heat and your pot sitting on pavement in the sun, it might be over heating the root zone causing the tree to stress and limit nutrient intake. Similar to walking bare foot on pavement during the summer, OUCH!!

Word. I'm going to put it up and already picked off a few fruit. I candied the green peels and dipped then in chocolate super tasty!!

one other thing might be your potting medium. yours looks good but my girlfriend poted some vegtables in some organic soil that when it gets wet it gets hard, and worse when the sun bakes it. i have to break up the soil every day or two with my fingers and even thats a challenge...... not saying its ur problem just food for thought,

Many will eventually realize that citrus can thrive just as nice if not better out of the hottest part of the day sun..MIne hate the sun from 12 to 2 in pots that is..
