I have two good grafted trees now (out of many attempts) and am taking care of them and waiting for them to grow up. I am trying to graft about 10 of them and get them into different climates to see how they do (respecting quarantine boundaries, of course).

Well I got one orange from a tree in a wine barrel planter. I have to say...it was excellent, just as decried. Richly sweet with enough sour to give it some backbone, and various subtle spicy flavors. Best orange I've grown. This baby is going into the ground.

The Rotuma orange is commercially available through the UCR's CCPP budwood program.
