Does anyone have experience with this cultivar?

CCPP has an entry with no info.

Another site ( http://users.kymp.net/citruspages/sweetoranges.html#rotuma ) reports that it grows well in California.

"The Rotuma island orange occurs spontaneously throughout the island but plantings have increased in recent years as demand for their export has grown. The oranges are also used in the naturally fermented Rotuman orange wine, which is consumed in vast quantities over Christmas.

The Rotuma Island orange seems to do well in California where in good years it produces sweet juicy oranges with a complex spicy flavour."

I'd like to try that out for myself. Any leads?

Thanks, John. I am working to get some budwood and will indeed keep the board informed!
