I raised this Meyer lemon from a seed and have grown quite attached to it. When you start naming your plants you know you are in trouble...
She's about 3 years old and has not produced lemons yet but this is the first year I have seen it losing leaves. I take it into the house before the first frost and bring it back out after the last one.
I think this started when it had a shoot coming off the truck near the base that I took for a sucker. I cut it off. About three weeks later I noticed a lot of sap weeping around the base of the trunk. I'll take some more pics and post them as we'll.
