Baby Lemon tree drying leaves

I own a 6ft lemon tree. I am noticing that the leaves are somehow getting 'burned' from the sides. The tree is exposed to about 3hrs of direct sunlight daily. It is watered daily but its growth is a little bit slow compared to other lemon trees. It has about 30 baby lemons (1cm) and some flowers. Do you think the soil is acidic? Citrus fertilizer was given every 3 months (about a handful).

This is the compartment of the lemon tree. It is not massive so i think the water is either drying up too quickly or draining too fast. I was mistaken; my friend is only watering it every four days so you're right.

How often should I water the tree and by how much?
