Eureka Lemon Tree help!

I have a potted Eureka that I got about a month ago. About a week ago leaves started to droop, and drop. I haven't done anything more than water it since I've had it, and I only water when it feels dry when I scratch the surface of the soil.
The tree is outside during the day, in full sun. After the sun sets, I bring it in for the night, because it does get rather cold at night here...
How can I save my tree?

A lot of these trees are in soil that does not take water well when they are dry. When you water the tree the water just flows threw channels and most of the soil remains dry. Submerge the root ball of your tree in a tub of water for a 1/2 hour or so. All the air bubbles should dissipate and the tree should feel a lot heavier. You will know what the tree should feel like when it is truly water well.
