We pruned back to the stump a meyer lemon (outside tree) on the recomendation of another web site, they said it would grow back healthier. However it's been not doing anything till about a month ago. now we have what look to me as branches growing on the side of the stump almost at the bottom. Did we ruin this plant or is it doing what it suppose to do.
