Lemon/Lime Trees Yellow and dry leaf tips

I have lemon and lime trees, not sure in picture what type of tree I'm photographing; anyways, I'm getting yellow along main vein that kinda fades out. Also, some of the leaf tips are drying.

They are planted in coir fiber. Only water when plant tells me to and they get hit with Miracle Grow Azalea/Rhododendron fertilizer about once a week.

They are putting out a lot of growth.

Any ideas? Micronutrients (iron, mag.)? I'm looking for direction on how to tackle this problem before gets worse. Thanks in advance to repliers for sharing your knowledge.

I have had goodluck adding a capful of white vinegar per gallon of water in addition to my fert. as per addvice on this forum. If ph is off the nutrients womt uptake as well. Also monthly fooliar feed of kelp and chelated trace nutrients, sprayed with a dash of soap, IN THE EVENING. perks up my plants. good luck. Please do report back. pics and more details wll surely help make more acurate suggestions.

I would switch to a more appropriate fertilizer. This particular fertilizer is very high in N, and nearly all from a Urea N source. You're seeing biuret build up and burn. Most container citrus folks on the list have found that Dyna Gro Foliage Pro fertilizer does an excellent job without burn, and with a better NPK ratio (and better N source). Also, you may want to consider a different potting medium as well. If you search for "511 mix", you will find a great recipe for an indoor citrus potting medium. Citrus do not need an acidic environment - not sure how this misconception started and continues to circulate. Citrus actually prefer a rather neutral environment. If you tap water is extremely alkaline, you can consider acidifying it with a little vinegar, but citrus do not need fertilizers designed for "acid-loving plants", as they do not fall into that category.

What about micro nutrients? I seen a lot on here about iron, mag and such.

These plants are sooo fussy. I'm switch the fert. I have read where people will put container under faucet and run for extended time.

I would do a thorough research on this forum about coco products and how coco products can affect nutrient uptake..

Also, Patty hit it dead on..Most are finding that Foliage Pro does the job since it has everything a citrus needs to be healthy..I would consider the mix that she suggests too.

I use vinegar because my tap water is on the high pH end. If it was neutral, I would not have to use it.

What Zone do you live in? What is 23231? It helps to know what zone you live in and the cultural habits your tree is use to.)
