Water before travelling?

Hi I'm traveling for a week and no one will be around to water my lime tree.
Expected forecast is 90f and humid (lows of 76 at night).
Am I able to give it some extra water before I go away (and how much) or should I hire someone to come check on it?

Absolutely soak it, let it drain, leave in shade. Should be fine for a week - 2 weeks I'd say get someone to check it.

Too, you could place that potted tree into another oversized container full of mulch and soak it..

It will be a protective layer that can constantly keep the mix in your pot moist....Shade it as mentioned above too.
