Close up of leaves

This is a picture I found online

It is not a fig. I hope you didn't pay much for it. It is probably a citrus, but I would need a picture with the stem from the branch to the main leaf body. BTW it is a fine looking tree.

You might also want to post in fig forum, they are very good with Ids

Looks like a fig to me. Probably Ficus microcarpa or similar. There are hundreds of tropical fig species.

It doesn't have "tigarbark" like the figus microcarpia has which is why I'm questioning if it's even a fig. I purchased him for $15 end of year clearance sale!! Iv been moving him around chasing the sunlight in my house in fear it's a citrus that needs full light. Hope I'm helping and not hindering it. Here's a few more pictures of the branches and trunk

Thats definitely not citrus bark from what I can tell. It looks a lot like fig.

In humid tropical countries, all those bumps on the trunk produce aerial roots. You don't see that in citrus.

Most definitely not a citrus tree. Contact the greenhouse and ask exactly what kind of fig tree it is. Ficus is a large genus, over 800 species. The greenhouse should be able to tell you exactly what you have.

Curious? Doesn't most Citrus leaves have that have 'citrusy' scent
when you smoosh or crush the leaves...that should help, crush one of the leaves with your fingers and see if it smells citrusy? At first it looked like Citrus to me ( by the leaves) but that bark definitely is not citrus I've ever seen
