| I have these, I'll call rubber branches, coming from my citrus plants. The navel orange and tangerine have them. The meyers didn't get it but these things are weird...
NONE of my citruses even flowered this year at all and I'm finally in a climate where citrus is in love and heaven. What's going on? I used to live in an overcast and mostly cold weather. I moved up here a year ago, so the citruses have had a year to "adjust" to this new thing called sunshine and dry heat. They also had to get used to surviving over 100F weather and living in mostly 90F weather. Last year and before they were hating it at their 50-60F weather but they flowered and lord knows they TRIED to fruit but never could...the meyers tried bless their souls...the other ones just flowered. Soooo.... I'm thinking perfect weather and not a bloom? I get wire branches instead?? Help? |

| We need more information, please. In ground or container grown? Fertilizer schedule? Soil type? Are these grafted trees or seedling grown? Etc.? Pictures would be helpful. |

| Photos. We have no idea what this is without seeing what you're referring to. Patty S. |

| if they're growing super fast, then its probably water spouts. they look a bit weird. but you can pinch the tip if they get too long. and after a while they'll plump up and look like actual branches. |
