I found a couple of scale on my kumquat and decided to use up my Organicide. I sprayed it well and kept it out of the sun for a day. I put the tree back in the window, then the leaves started falling, about a dozen per day. I decided there was just too much oily spray on the leaves. My problem is removing it...

I put the tree in the sink and water sprayed it, then wiped every leaf with paper towel but lost way more leaves during that process (didn't take much, touch them and they fell). It's better, but they still have a shine. Should I use something else to get the oil off? It might do better now...
